Warning: A Beach Hazard Advisory Has Been Issued For Today

If you’re planning on a trip to the beach today, know this: a beach hazard warning has been issued along the Bay Area coastline, including Sonoma and Marin counties. Waves are expected to reach 20-feet in some areas. Average swells will be between 9 and 11 feet thru Friday. That warning continues until 6 o’clock tonight..it includes the Half Moon Bay area where the Mavericks surfing competition takes place.
