Four Americans are dead after a charter plane crashed in Australia.  It happened shortly after the plane took off near Melbourne. Authorities say the Australian pilot tried to make it back to the airport after the plane’s engined failed but the two-engine plane slammed into a shopping center on the edge of the airport.  The crash happened about 45 minutes before the center was scheduled to open and no one on the ground was hurt.  The Americans were on a golfing trip.  At least two were from Texas, according to the men’s relatives.
