Down 16 points the Warriors rode Draymond Green’s heart and effort to a 106-104 win.

Golden State found themselves down by 1 point at halftime (59-58). The Dubs shot only 39% but kept themselves alive with 19 points from Klay Thompson. In the third quarter, everything unraveled for the Warriors. Philadelphia rookie Dario Saric took over as he made 5 baskets in a row. Nothing went right for the Warrior’s offense in the 3rd quarter. They were out of rhythm and rushing passes while the 76ers were running away with the game. The 76ers pushed their lead up to 16 points. Then Draymond Green had seen enough and took matters into his own hands. It was perhaps one the greatest manifestations of will power I have ever seen. Green took his defense to a god-like level while getting the Dubs into the game on offense. Headed into the 4th quarter Philly’s led was trimmed to (90-78) by the dogged Warrior’s defense. In the 4th Draymond Green got help when Steph Curry looked to regain his shooting form. Shaun Livingston put the Dubs ahead on a jump shot from the free-throw line(93-92). Curry scored 12 of his 29 points in the 4th quarter to lead Golden State. Draymond and the Dub’s defense held the 76ers to just 14 points in the final quarter. The result was a 106-104 victory for Golden State as they took a step in the right direction. The Warriors snapped a three-game losing streak. Up next Golden State will take on the Magic Thursday at 7:30 pm.
