Sonoma County officials are set to decide on whether a Guerneville site will work for a homeless services center. Supervisors will weigh in today on whether to approve a nine-acre site on Armstrong Woods Road already under contract by the nonprofit West County Health Centers. The Board is scheduled to negotiate in closed session with representatives of the seller and the Community Development Commission: they’ll decide whether the county should get involved in the potential purchase of the site with an asking price of nearly one-million dollars.
