It’s a done deal: As expected,  the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is moving forward on plans to build a park in honor of Andy Lopez. After some debate and public comment, The supervisors voted yesterday to award a three-million-dollar contract to transform the site at the corner of Moorland and West Robles avenues.  That’s where the 13-year-old Lopez was shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy back in 2013.  The four-plus-acre park will be known as “Andy’s Unity Park.”
