Green and Curry Lead Warriors Past Lowly Kings

Draymond and Curry combine for 50 points in the Dubs 114-110 win over Sacramento.

Golden State increased their winning streak to 6 straight games in their most recent triumph over Sacramento. It was a masterful passing effort by the Dubs. They finished with 37 assists, 21 of them came in the 1st half. This marked the 44th time that the Warriors have had 30 plus assists in a contest. This feat ties them with the 85-86 Lakers, the best passing team of all time. Curry and Draymond had dominant nights on both ends of the floor. Curry posted 27 points while going 5/11 fro downtown. Draymond played the role of splash cousin tonight with 23 points. Green was arguably the Dubs most dominant player tonight for Golden State. The Warriors held the lead for virtually the entire game. To their credit, the Sacramento Kings put up a fight and remained competitive. Ty Lawson led the charge in the 1st half with 18 points. Buddy Hield the centerpiece of the Cousins trade had a 22 point effort against the Dubs. In the 3rd quarter, Golden State ran away with the game. Thanks to Draymond Green and great bench play the Warrior’s lead ballooned to 20 points (92-72). The bench players combined to score 48 points. Ian Clark led all the Dubs reserves with 10 points. The Bay’s team record now stands at 58-14 with the victory. The Warriors begin a tough stretch of games starting this Sunday against the Grizzlies. This 5 game stretch could very well decide who gets the #1 seed.
