Santa Rosa’s newest park is now open to the public after holding a festive multicultural grand opening.  Hundreds of people attended the ribbon-cutting and festivities this weekend at Bayer Neighborhood Park & Gardens, located on West Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood.  The walls of the park pavilion feature murals linked by a dozen circles decorated with traditional folk art from five continents.  The more than 13-million-dollar facility is the latest addition to Santa Rosa’s stable of 70 parks.
