There is no time left for North Bay homeowners to apply for federal government assistance to remove wildfire ash and debris. Yesterday marked the last day people could sign up to have the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA clear debris off their property. Yesterday, over four-thousand permissions were signed, and last week, 18-hundred permissions had been signed. That adds up to about 80-percent of homeowners who took advantage of the government-cleanup option.
