Sonoma County’s housing market is experiencing record high home prices and a spike in newly signed deals following the deadly fires. According to a new monthly housing report, the median sales price for a single-family home jumped to 648-thousand dollars in October, a nearly nine percent increase from a year earlier. Meanwhile, the county suffered a significant drop in completed sales, with only 366 homes purchased last month, the lowest number for the month in six years, while only 130 homes were purchased in Santa Rosa, the lowest for October in a decade.
