ABC/Adam Rose(LOS ANGELES) — After a season full of perfect scores and gushing praise from the judges, singer and actor Jordan Fisher was named the champion of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars season 25, and tangoed off with the Mirror Ball trophy.  It was the first win for his pro partner, Lindsay Arnold.

Judge Len Goodman called Jordan “the most complete male celebrity ever on Dancing with the Stars,” while judge  Bruno Tonioli said he was “right up there with the best we have ever seen on this show.”

Frankie Muniz — who called his time on the show “the most amazing experience of my life — came in third.  Violinist Lindsey Stirling came in second.

The finale was split between the scored dances in the ballroom, and festive holiday numbers — so many numbers — performed live outside at the Grove in Los Angeles.  In between dances, the season’s other cast members returned to dance and, in some cases, sing.

The show began with each couple doing a favorite dance from earlier in the season.  Lindsey Stirling and her partner Mark Ballas performed their jive from Guilty Pleasures Week and received 10s across the board.  Frankie and his partner Witney Carson performed their pirate-themed Argentine tango from Disney week. They also received a score of 30.  Jordan and Lindsay performed their samba from Latin night and they, too, earned 10s across the board.

Each couple was therefore tied going into the final performances, which were “24 Hour Fusion Dances.”  Lindsey and Mark performed a cha cha/tango fusion and received a perfect score of 30. An emotional Lindsey said the show “really made me re-learn who I am in a really different way, and it’s been amazing.”

Frankie and Witney performed a foxtrot/tango fusion, but Bruno and Len found small faults in the performance.  Carrie Ann Inaba awarded the couple a 10, but it was only 9s from Bruno and Len.

Jordan and Lindsay performed a salsa/paso doble fusion that was super-fast and featured various gymnastic flips. The judges raved about the number, Jordan’s talent and Lindsay’s skills as a choreographer, dancer and teacher, and awarded the couple a perfect score of 30.

The final scores were revealed live on stage at the Grove and Jordan and Lindsay — and the Mirror Ball trophy — were hoisted into the air as streamers shot everywhere and the crowd went wild.  The three final couples will appear on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday morning.

Backstage after the show, Jordan praised Lindsay for her hard work. “She’s done that for season after season and finally, finally won and I got to be a part of that and it is the coolest thing.  I don’t know how to put it into words.”

He added that he’s just bought a new place and may make a brand-new space for his Mirror Ball Trophy, while Linsday said she might just have “Thanksgiving dinner with it on the table.”

Also on the show, country star Kelsea Ballerini sang her latest hit, “Legends,” while season-25 cast member Nick Lachey sang a new ballad called “Someone to Dance With.”  Lindsey Stirling and Becky G performed their current holiday hit “Christmas C’mon,” from Lindsey’s current album Warmer in the Winter. Cast member Debbie Gibson sang the holiday favorite “Sleigh Ride,” while Jordan belted out Stevie Wonder’s “What Christmas Means to Me.”

Jordan and Frankie will both be headlining the upcoming Dancing with the Stars: Light Up the Night tour, which kicks off December 30 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dancing with the Stars will return in the spring of 2018 with a special four-week long, all-athlete edition of the show, featuring ten athletes from all parts of the sports world.
