Santa Rosa City Council and City staff are holding their goal setting meeting for the 2018 year starting this morning. The meeting comes in the wake of the October Wildfires which destroyed 3000 homes and 80 businesses within the city. Topics that will be discussed will be the city’s budget for 2018, review projects and major items scheduled for the year, and, of course, address further fire recovery. Mayor Chris Coursey says he doesn’t expect the session to be easy. Meetings will take place today and tomorrow morning at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel, on Railroad Street in Santa Rosa. Today’s meeting starts at 10 AM and is open to the public.
