Due to Wildfire Liability, PG&E May Not Be Able to Support the Non-Profit Community

NBC Bay Area reports that Senator Jerry Hill says the utility is trying to get the non-profits to lobby for limited liability. But PG&E sent out a letter a couple of weeks ago to its non-profit community partners, saying the company may not be able to support all of their efforts because of the potentially unlimited liability in the North Bay fires. But Leticia Han-kee, who runs a program at Rancho Cotati High to help kids learn jobs in construction, says she stands behind PG&E, “When I went to them about this program, you know, it was kind of out of the blue, no one was really doing it. They’re like, yeah, this is what we need to do, so I will be there for them just like as they were for me.”
