Since the October Fires, the first home has been rebuilt.
Coffey Park Resident Dan Bradford will receive a Certificate of Occupancy today from Mayor Chris Coursey in a ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon. David Guhin, Santa Rosa’s Planning & Economic Development Director, said that Bradford’s rebuilding process helped pave the way for everyone else.
An additional 167 homes are currently under construction in Santa Rosa, with more anticipated to wrap up construction in early June. Construction is pending for another 91 homes where the building permits have been issued, and 111 building permit applications are undergoing review by staff in the City of Santa Rosa’s Resilient City Permit Center.
