According to YouMail CEO Alex Quilici, there were nearly 469-million calls received in the Golden State last month.
L.A. received the highest amount of robocalls in the state, with more than 146-million. California also topped the list of states making the most robocalls, with more than 333-million calls placed. The types of robocalls being made are alert and reminder calls in addition to telemarketing calls. YouMail suggests the high number of robocalls are placed because consumers are answering their phone much less frequently and robocallers are making more calls to try and get through.
