The California Unemployment Rate is Holding Steady

Employment Development Department Spokeswoman Loree Levy says employers added 55-hundred non-farm payroll jobs last month.

 

 

The number of Californians who were unemployed last month was 808-thousand, down seven-thousand since April and down 132-thousand since May 2017. The leisure and hospitality sector reported the highest increase of jobs, while the construction industry reported the largest decrease.
