The National Association Of Broadcasters (NAB) in Washington, DC announced the finalists Monday for this year’s coveted Marconi National Radio Awards. Named as a “Finalist” for 2018’S Marconi Awards: KSRO, Santa Rosa for the station’s community service year-round, and specifically for coverage of the North Bay Firestorms of late last year.
NAB also announced that KSRO’S News Director, Pat Kerrigan, has been named a Marconi “Finalist” for radio personality of the year, also citing Pat’s dedication to serving the community year-long and especially for her remarkable service during the fires of last October.
The Marconi Award winners will be announced at the annual NAB radio show, held in Orlando, FL on September 27TH. The Marconi’s are considered to be the highest national honor in radio.
