Santa Rosa City Council Holding Special Meeting Today to Discuss Possible Tax Hikes and Spending Cuts

The Santa Rosa City Council is set to hold a special meeting to discuss possible tax hikes and spending cuts. Officials will meet from ten o’clock this morning to 4:30 at the clubhouse of the Bennett Valley Golf Course to find ways to close a more than 14-million dollar budget deficit. The meeting is open to the public. City officials plan to decide at this Tuesday’s council meeting what type of revenue measures they plan to put on the November ballot.
