Tracy Snyder, Correctional Captain and Fire Camp Liason, shares how much inmate firefighters receive for working on the fire lines, what the criteria is for eligibility, the benefits of volunteering for this program for the prisoner, what effect she has witnessed from the inmates who have participated, whether there have been any notable issues, how they are treated in the fire camps, and the rigors of being a fire volunteer:
