Santa Rosa city leaders are preparing a plan to clear out a homeless encampment at the Northpoint Corporate Center. Around 100 people will soon be forced to leave the area around Northpoint and Corporate Center parkways, which has become a health and safety risk. The hope is that those currently living in the area can find shelter or housing elsewhere. People living in RVs and campers will also need to find a new place to live.

OPEN LETTER FROM MAYOR COURSEY REGARDING HOMELESSNESS IN SANTA ROSA

Homelessness is a major and growing concern for Santa Rosa, and has been identified as one of the City Council’s top priorities. However, unlike a street repair or starting a business, homelessness is a complex social issue with many contributing factors that cannot be easily or quickly solved by a single agency or organizations. Solutions require both immediate and long-term strategies, and partnerships with County agencies, community organizations, and you. We at the City of Santa Rosa want you to know what we are doing to address homelessness and to invite you to work with us to reduce homelessness in Santa Rosa. This page offers tips, resources, and information about solutions that the City is currently implementing.
