Advocacy groups are demanding more Latino representation in Hollywood films. The National Hispanic Media Coalition based in Pasadena is planning a protest outside Paramount Studios tomorrow. President and CEO Alex Nogales said a 2017 USC study points to the need for more representation.

He wants Paramount executives to sign a memorandum of understanding, with the goal of overcoming the lack of representation. A studio spokesman said it has already met with coalition leaders to further drive Paramount’s culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging.
