It’s time to once again “Drop, Cover, and Hold On.” It’s the tenth anniversary of the Great California Shake Out, which started in southern California in 2008. Today’s preparedness drill is scheduled for 10:18 a.m., and should only take about a minute. Officials say, wherever you are, it’s important to practice the drill and be ready in the event of a major earthquake. It’s also important to set-up an emergency plan with your family and know what to do and where to meet after a quake.
