Governor Jerry Brown and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke say local and federal authorities are working around the clock to contain the wildfires across the state. Governor Brown says he spoke with President Trump about receiving federal support yesterday.

FEMA Administrator Brock Long says the federal government is working with local officials to help provide aid for those affected by the wildfires. Interior Secretary Zinke says this is the worst fire he’s ever seen and now is the time to look at the infrastructure.
