California Lawmakers Moving Forward to Place State on Daylight Saving Time Permanently

California lawmakers are moving forward with a plan to have the state be on daylight saving time permanently. Assembly Bill Seven was introduced this week and needs to pass through committee and both houses of the Legislature. It requires a two-thirds vote and then the approval of the federal government. California voters approved Proposition Seven in the November midterm election.
