Search, Evacuation Prompted by False Report of Gunman at SRJC

No injuries or arrests are reported after a false report of a gunman at Santa Rosa Junior College. SRJC police Lt. Robert Brownlee:

 

 

About 100 students and employees were evacuated from the school’s art building at around two o’clock yesterday afternoon while campus police did a room-by-room search. No gunman was found, and one student admitted to making a false report. She was placed on a 72-hour mental health hold, and will be evaluated further by medical professionals.
