Many locations across the Sierra Nevada saw another 12-to-20-inches of fresh snow over the weekend. The Department of Water Resources reported last week the Sierra’s average snow water content stood at 111-percent of normal. Several ski resorts added to the strong numbers Sunday. Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl both reported 20-inches of snow over a 24-hour period through nine o’clock this morning. Sierra-at-Tahoe had 19-inches while Heavenly and Kirkwood both checked in with 18-inches.
