Emergency crews in San Diego say they’ve rescued more than a dozen people from a Sea World gondola ride over Mission Bay. Sixteen people were pulled from the ride Monday night and lowered into boats. Battalion Chief Robert Logan, of the San Diego Fire Department, said it was a risky rescue that needed preparation and patience.

The problem started when a gust of wind tripped a circuit breaker that caused the ride to stop moving. The rescue took around four hours.
