A former Lumber Mill in Healdsburg has been approved for a multi use project that includes over 200 new homes.

The Mill District project, located just north of the Highway 101 off-ramp to Central Healdsburg, was approved by the city council Monday night and also includes the building of an upscale Hotel and some new retail shops along Healdsburg Avenue. Construction is expected to start this fall and is scheduled to be built over a 12 year period. If completed fully, the district would have 208 new homes with 70 of them being income restricted.
