The Press Democrat reports this morning that 70-percent of the burned properties in Coffey Park have either been rebuilt or are in the process of rebuilding. Since November, the city of Santa Rosa has been averaging 60-90 new permit requests every month. The flurry of construction activity is expected to increase this spring and summer. That’s because of the 2-year insurance deadline for homeowners that will come up in October.
