Wherever there's weather...you'll find Meteorologist Brent Alan. A 6th generation Sonoma County resident and Santa Rosa native, the microclimates of the North Bay run through his blood.

Brent's forecasting career began in 1997 when he joined KFTY TV50 forecasting for the morning news. He quickly moved to the the evening news where he served as Meteorologist until 2007. Along the way Brent has forecast for KVIQ in Eureka, KION and KCBA in Salinas. Brent joined the KSRO news team on April 1st, 2002 (no joke..) and provides accurate forecasts for our varied micro-climates 7 days a week and now can also be heard forecasting for KVRV The River. "Classic rock is my music, if it was recorded after 1980 or isn't Jimmy Buffett, I don't listen to it!"

When he's not looking at forecast models and weather charts, you can find him roaming the fairways and greens with his wife Kelly, who also shares his love of golf. Their family also includes two cats, Buffett and Penske.
