CA Medical Pot Growers Hurt Mexican Cartels

Homegrown pot is putting the Mexican drug cartels out of business. As thousands of of mom-and-pop medicinal marijuana farmers grew in the last decade...they took a serious cut into the bottom line of the Mexico's drug cartels. That's had a boomerang effect. Now the drug cartels moved to grow marijuana on public lands in the United States.
