GPS Technology to Help Illegal Immigrants

Only in America. A group from the University of California San Diego invented an application for cell phones to help illegals cross the US/Mexican border safely.Transborder Immigrant Tool uses global-positioning technology to chart the best route for dangerous desert crossings. It's a humanitarian effort that's getting a lot of heat from anti-immigration groups.

Guest: Micha Cárdenas an Artist and Researcher at The Center for Research in Computing and the Arts at U of C who helped with the project.

THIS IS GROTESQUE. AND THOSE WHO DEVELOPED THIS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED. THESE IMMIGRANTS ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND UC IS ABETTING THEM. HOW INSANE.

If this is true I hope the federal government takes them to court for this. I guess the school thinks this is cute.

This group should be arrested and put in jail for aiding and abetting illegal aliens. It's people like this that are part of the problem and not part of the solution. Maybe the Border Patrol should be there waiting for them, also. What a disgrace!

How fabulous! The Mexican drug cartels can supply these to their human and drug smuggling employees. I'm sure there will be a pretty good order from Al Quida, too.
