A trip to Santa Cruz, Sonoma, and the Russian River Valley, I’m Tom Simoneau with today’s wine minute here to say this Saturday in the Santa Cruz Mountains, it’s Passport for Summer. Over 50 Santa Cruz Wineries will open their doors for barrel samples, special wines, food, music, and more. Click on scmwa.com for more info.
Then Saturday and Sunday, July 24th and 25th, from 11:00 – 4:00, it’s the Catalan Festival. Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves is celebrating summer and its heritage with the Catalan Festival. If you like paella, sparkling wine and Flamenco music and dance, be there. Oh, and did I mention the 15 feet tall Gegants? Tickets are $50 and will sell out. Call 707-933-1999.
