The Sonoma County Sheriff’s office thinks that a missing bike may be a vital clue in finding the killer of 18-year old Cotati man.
Slain Cotati teen Kirk Kimberly was last seen on Oct. 17 as he left home on his mountain bike. Kimberly’s partially buried body was found more than two weeks later by a landscaper clearing brush at the Sonoma State University campus. Sgt. Spencer Crum of the Sheriff’s Office tells KPIX 5 that Kimberly was stabbed to death, and it’s likely he was targeted by more than one killer.
