Sonoma County’s Latino Population is Nervous of President-Elect Donald Trump’s Immigration Policies

President-elect Donald Trump is promising to deport or jail up to 2 million CRIMINAL illegal aliens after he assumed office, even as he is building a ‘big, beautiful wall’ ..as he describes it.
But Sheriff Steve Freitas says his department is not going to make any moves to enforce current immigration laws. Sheriff Freitas, Santa Rosa Police Chief Hank Schreeder and Petaluma Police Chief Ken Savano, who lead departments serving more than three quarters of Sonoma County’s population all agree that there will be no immigration enforcement during a Latino public forum.
