The Rockets were ready for the challenge of playing the Golden State Warriors. They jumped out to a 13-4 lead thanks to scoring from most of their starting players. Iguodala made an early appearance thanks to the foul troubles of Pachulia. Warriors struggled with the three-pointer for the entire first half. In the first, the Dubs used the glass and points inside the paint to get themselves going. They went on a 13-3 run to take a (17-16) lead. It was a furious start both teams love to push the pace. Harden was dominant for the Rockets. He led all scorers with 11 points in the 1st quarter. The Warriors trailed the Rockets (32-30). The Houston bench faired very well without the services of James Harden. Eric Gordon was their best player off the bench, he played starters minutes thanks to his scoring. He scored 12 points and gave the Warrior bigs trouble. The majority of the 2nd quarter the Dubs managed to stay within striking distance. Golden State lost their composure midway through the second. Steph Curry was called for a foul that never even occurred. It was his 3rd foul and it forced him to sit. He only played 11 total minutes in the 1st half. Draymond and Steve Kerr received back to back technicals that fed the Houston momentum. Ryan Anderson owned the 2nd quarter and scored 15 points in the 1st half. Houston led by 5 points at the half thanks to the absence of Steph Curry (64-59).

It was a flurry of technical fouls to start the 3rd quarter. Zaza and Harden got into a scuffle and committed offsetting T’s. Then the Rockets bench received a technical a few minutes later. Golden State shot just 1/10 to open the 3rd quarter. James Harden and the Rockets pushed their lead to 10 points. Golden State went on an 11-2 run and pulled within one (79-78). Going into the final quarter the Warriors were down 4 points (86-82). Ryan Anderson had 10 points in the 4th quarter and gave the Rockets a 2 point lead with 22.7 left. Durant tied it up at 113 to send this contest to overtime. The Dubs had their opportunities but could not close out the Rockets, and we proceeded to double overtime. The Golden State offense would short circuit, and they could not buy a basket. Steph Curry fouled out, and James Harden went to work. He scored a three-pointer and drew a costly foul on Draymond Green. The missed opportunities in OT cost the Warriors the game. Warriors shot just 1/11 in the 2nd overtime. Steph and Klay were a combined 13/42. Durant was the lone threat for most of the night. Harden and Anderson both had 29 points on the night. The Rockets win 132-127 and snap the Dubs 12 game winning streak. Warriors look to start fresh on Saturday against the Suns. Tune into KSRO for the next broadcast of you Golden State Warriors.
