An insurance organization is giving the Santa Rosa Fire Department an upgraded rating.  The Insurance Services Office upgraded the city from a Class three to a Class one community.  The organization evaluates over 40-thousand fire departments nationwide and just under 180 earned the Class one rating this year.  The evaluation includes fire department staffing, fire prevention activities, training, the city’s water supply and the emergency 911 communication system.
