A new report says primates are facing an “extinction crisis.”  The study published in the journal “Science Advances” says 60-percent of all primates are now at risk of extinction.  Researchers studied over 500 species of primates and found that three-fourths were experiencing a dramatic population decline.  The study’s authors told CNN that the situation is worse than they thought.  The researchers say all the current threats to primates are being driven by human activity.
