President Trump is taking steps to advance two controversial oil pipelines.  Trump signed executive orders which essentially remove shackles on the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines. Speaking at the White House, Trump insisted that the pipeline materials be made in the U.S.  The President also signed an order aimed at streamlining regulatory impediments and expediting environmental reviews.  Both pipelines have faced strong opposition from environmentalists and many Democrats.
