As expected, the crowds showed up and stood in line for the release of Pliny the Younger on Friday. The two-week release of the beer continues to bring crowds into Sonoma County. And with the crowds comes money: about 5-million dollars into Sonoma County coffers. Next year, the release is expected to be held at the new, larger version of the Russian River Brewing Company in Windsor.
