White House spokesman Sean Spicer calls U.S.-Mexican relations “phenomenal.” In his daily briefing, Spicer tamped down reports of tensions. The White House dispatched Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to Mexico City for high level meetings with Mexican counterparts. Border security is a hot issue on the agenda. President Trump has long-vowed to build a massive border wall and insists that Mexico will end up paying for it. Mexican officials have consistently said no.
