People who constantly check their electronic devices are more likely to be stressed out.  A report from the American Psychological Association shows 86 percent of Americans say they often check their social media accounts, emails and texts.  Dr. Vaile Wright is the Association’s director of Research and Special Projects. On a ten-point scale, where one is little or no stress and ten is a great deal of stress, constant checkers average a stress level of five-point-three.  Americans who check their work emails on their days off come in at an even higher stress level of six.
