Elite teams find ways to win games despite not always bringing their A Game. Tonight the Golden State Warriors did just that, they willed themselves to a victory with their three-point shooting going MIA. Tonight the Dubs were horrendous from distance going just 6/29. Steph Curry was responsible for 11 of those misses as he failed to convert on a single triple in the contest. Steve Kerr said it best it was simply a weird game. Golden State refused to give in and found a different way to beat the 76ers. It began at the free throw line where the Warriors feasted on Philly in the 1st half. Golden State took every opportunity to draw contact and get to the line. At the heart of the Golden State’s triumph was the stellar play of all five Warrior’s starters. Durant led the way with 27, Klay dropped 21, Steph Curry had 19, Zaza Pachulia notched 16 while Draymond added 14 points. The added scoring carried the Warriors past Philadelphia who did everything in their power to beat the Dubs. Six 76er players scored in double digits. Dario Saric led all Philly scorers with 21 points. In the end, Golden State overpowered the 76ers with their seemingly limitless offensive firepower. The Warriors earned their 4th consecutive 50 win season with tonight’s victory. Up next Curry and Company travel to Washington to take on John Wall and the Wizards. The contest begins tomorrow at 4 PM.

Stars of the night: Draymond Green, 14 points, 11 assists, 5 steals, and 6 rebounds. Kevin Durant, 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists. Zaza Pachulia, 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block.
