A former Analy High School student is suing the district and administrators over being subjected to racial taunts and bullying. The legal action from the family of Evan Mack was filed in federal court and alleges the mixed-race student endured racial slurs and bullying from fellow students over a two-year period. The family is seeking unspecified monetary damages for “Evan and to make sure this type of environment doesn’t occur in the future.” The lawsuit comes after U.S. Department of Education investigators found Civil Rights Act violations on the Sebastopol campus.
