Police negotiators talking to gunman Omar Mateen at first weren't sure if the person they had on the phone was actually in the Pulse nightclub, according to audio recordings released Monday, Oct. 31, after a judge ruled they should be made public. The wife of the Orlando nightclub shooter could be out of an Oakland jail by the end of the week.  A federal judge granted 500-thousand-dollars bail for Noor Salman yesterday.  U.S. Magistrate Judge Donna Ryu is giving federal prosecutors two days to appeal her ruling, but she said she didn’t find any evidence Salman holds extremist views or has connections to ISIS.  Salman’s husband, Omar Mateen, pledged allegiance to ISIS and other terrorist groups as he killed 49 people and wounded more than 50 others in the Pulse nightclub last June.  He died in a shootout with police.  Salman was arrested at her parents’ East Bay home late last year.
