One part of the homeless crisis in Sonoma County is addiction to alcohol and drugs. And in Petaluma, they’re doing something about it. 12 agencies have pooled their resources to assist this part of the homeless population, and the results are good. This program can help the homeless get off the streets and will cut down on the number of police calls the city has had to respond to as well.
