Curry broke out of his slump as the Dubs hold off the Knicks in their 112-105 victory.

The 1st half was one to forget for Golden State and the Knicks. Both teams struggled to score, and turnovers were aplenty in the 1st quarter. Klay Thompson rocketed out of the gate with 14 1st quarter points. Golden State found themselves up (29-18) at the conclusion of the opening frame. In the 2nd quarter, the Warriors went absolutely cold from the field 1-10. The Knicks turned on their offense and rode Kristaps Porzingis who came alive offensively. Despite the troubles in the offensive zone, Golden State trailed by just 1 point at halftime (50-49). In the 2nd half, Golden State sprang to life offensively and shot nearly 57% from the floor. Steph Curry showed signs of returning to his superhuman form in the 3rd quarter. He scored 15 points in the 3rd, not to mention some much needed three’s. The Warriors were unable to distance themselves completely from the Knicks. Derrick Rose turned back the clock to his MVP days with a 28 point performance. Kristaps Porzingis was finally able to shed Draymond Green and post 24 points against the Dubs. Fortunately, the other Splash Brother joined the scoring party alongside Steph. Following his 14 point opening stanza, Klay added 12 points in the 4th quarter. New York inched to within 1 point of the Warriors after Kristaps hit a three-pointer (97-96). Golden State responded with a 9-3 run that ultimately put the Kicks away. Steph Curry and company withstood the Knick’s best and earned a 112-105 victory. It was not pretty but the Dubs found their way back into the win column. The Warriors move to 51-11 as they travel to Atlanta tomorrow to take on the Hawks.
