PG&E is getting ready to re-paint 65 electric transmission towers in Sonoma County: the company is voluntarily taking on that project because many of the towers are covered in lead paint, and that could be a health issue for the public. Press Democrat reports PG&E will send out letters to the property owners where those towers are located: work is expected to begin in the fall.
