It’s Election Day in Sonoma County: voters go to the polls to decide whether to tax rural pot growers up to ten percent to pay for enforcing regulations on that now-legal crop. The Board of Supervisors are for it, the Sonoma County Growers Alliance are against it. KSRO spoke with Bill Rousseau from the Registrar of Voters who expects 35 % turnout. Polling places are open until 8 o’clock tonight. KSRO will have the election results for you tomorrow morning.
