A bomb threat is being blamed for the evacuation of Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park. School officials said the threat was emailed yesterday morning to the school’s principal, and was the second threat sent to the school in about a week. Police cleared the campus at about 11:30 and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s bomb squad searched the area before the school was determined to be safe at around one o’clock. Classes will resume as normal today, as the FBI and Rohnert Park Police search for the sender of those threats.
