Andy’s Unity Park:  The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on whether to approve a construction contract for the new Santa Rosa park. Supervisors at today’s meeting will consider awarding the more than three-million dollar contract for the long-awaited park on the lot where 13-year-old Andy Lopez was shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy four years ago.  The plan is to transform a more than four-acre site on the corner of Moorland and West Robles avenues into Andy’s Unity Park.
